A few of the regular shooters at Wildwood. Likely a Green heron is the subject. Wildwood Lake, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Thank you for looking!

1. It is hard to take a selfie in focus

2. It is hard to toss leaves and not look goofy at the same time

3. who cares when you are having fun!

An exercise in seeing, color and selective focus

Some more experimenting with focus stacking of a black ant under my Nikon Labophot-2 microscope. Approximately 64 images were focus stacked together in Helicon Focus to create this image. The ant was photographed under side light with a 4x objective. I was impressed by how much fine detail was captured, especially in the eye, leg and antenna.

With so many great people and places in SL...not to mention RL interference...sometimes it is necessary for me to stop, appreciate everything I've experienced and then try to regain focus.

Today is one of those days where excitement and melancholy mix together and cloud the present moment but with the promise of clarity to follow.

Selective Focusing can be tricky sometimes.

With only a brief window before moonrise I went to a familiar recent target to try more bokeh MW! This is a lot longer exposure than I would normally do with a 50mm lens as star trailing is less noticeable when out of focus!

Kodak Portra 400 Film ~ Canon AE-1P 50mm f/1.4

I thought that I would try focus stacking for the first time.

Flower, check

14 photos later, an impressive well focused image of a decaying flower riddled with aphids. uncheck.

Luckily its Sunday & its time to unstack and slide into photoshop & I get to live & try it another day. HSS

I know what I came to do

And that ain't gonna change

So go ahead and talk your talk

'Cause I won't take the bait

I'm over here doing what I like

I'm over here working day and night

And if my real ain't real enough

I'm sorry for you bae

Thanks for all your faves !

between the culms of grass and flowers, focus is in good hands I think.

I hope you enjoy :-)
