Rosemary Beetle from last year. I'm missing my macro photography so now hoping it won't be long until the beautiful bug butts are out and about as it's officially Spring. ... hahaha! The weather man said just now that we might have a white Easter!!! I need some vitamin D and my boggy garden needs the chance to dry out!

I don't think I got a single insect bite during the two hours I was shooting these Violet-green Swallows on a pond at the edge of the Lincoln National Forest. That's how efficient they were at dong their job.

A worn Cabbage White feeding on lavender nectar in my garden..

I found a whole bunch of photos that I never did anything with the other day and this is the result of playing around with them. I decided my photostream needed a little brightening up so here is one of them that's nice and bright. What ever it is? A Hoverfly maybe? I fear I am not well versed in little bee like critters at all! Anita and I are off adventuring today. Not positive sure where but we know we are starting at a tunnel that goes under Afton Mountain. I expect Anita will want to walk the whole mile length of it....... I think I will enjoy a nice nap at that time! LOL Have a great rest of the weekend everyone and happy snapping! :)
