This Barred Owl was quite active occasionally flying low over a marshy field. In the short time we watched it did make one catch, likely a vole. Conditions, dark and cloudy with occasional snow.

It is very sad to find this current reality, the absence of bees, I tried for three days to find bees in my sector and I did not find them, a year ago we were surrounded by them ... today we suffer an environmental crisis
This blue heron was flying across the main lake at Jackson Bottom. I loved the ripples on the water!
Singschwäne in Norddeutschland im Winterquartier. Majestätische und recht ruhige Flieger. Die Fluggeräusche sind in keiner Weise mit dem starken, "metallisch sausenden bis singenden" Geräusch der fliegenden Höckerschwäne zu vergleichen.
Ihre Stimme erheben sie hingegen melodiös singend - ein besonderes Erlebnis. Wer sich einem Höckerschwan nähert, der hat bestimmt dessen fauchenden Lautäußerungen schon mal gehört - durchaus auch ein besonderes Erlebnis, das einem das Fürchten beibringen kann. Dann ist Rückzug angesagt.

If you want to be a bull rider you've got to start somewhere. This little guy wasn't hurt. He dusted himself off and tried harder the next time. The calf jumped right over him in this calf riding event.

In My life, I never travel a journey 9h by Plane..... This was my first as long time in Plane..............
1946, January, was when the Steamship "Vis" returned to home waters after it was seized by the Allied Forces to support the War efforts. Despite all measures, it hit a remaining Mine and sank. Luckily, although it sank fast, only one Sailor died.
Today, the wreck rests at a depth of max. 60m at the Bottom of the adriatic Sea and remains a popular Spot for technical divers.
