In my earlier post of an Osprey pair, Graham suggested I train the Ospreys to do sychronized flying. Well, Graham, here they are. They still have a bit of work to do but they are getting there.

Best viewed large on black.

A flock of Canada Geese flying over the Brydon Lagoon.

And here it's: the Grand Canyon. Probably, it's the most famous American National Park recognized out of United States. The films have done this work.

This photo was taken during a flight over the Grand Canyon. It was a big experience.

. . . My favorite female Snowy Owl on one of her forays hunting for food. The focusing on my new Nikon Z-6-ll is incredible, as I even caught a single snowflake below her.

Speaking of flying, I will be doing that as well in a day or so, going to where the buffalo roam and geysers erupt, for a weeks winter vacation. So if you are looking for more Snowy Owl pictures, you will have to get your fix from others!

Have a great week Facebook, Flickr, and 500px friends!

The Catalina flying boat was a versatile, long-range seaplane used by the Allied forces during World War II for surveillance, antisubmarine warfare, and search and rescue missions. It was heavily relied upon for its durability and ability to land on water. Its large wingspan and twin-engine design allowed it to carry a heavy payload and operate in various weather conditions.

Flying duck above Lake Leman in Lausanne, Switzerland

It was mainly a clear sky with just a few cirrus clouds. So happened a seagull flew by, the clouds looked pretty dynamic and seemed to be flying together with the bird, or maybe it's the other way round?

American Wigeon. While on the water, wigeon often gather with feeding coots and divers and are notorious for grabbing pieces of vegetation brought to the surface by diving water birds. For this reason, they are sometimes called “poacher” or “robber” ducks. IMG_9240

We’re expecting heavy rain from Hurricane Zeta over the next few days. Perfect timing to soften the ground for planting bulbs. Tulips, daffodils, red spider lillies. Maybe a few more hyacinth and crocus too. You can’t have too many flowers.
