Zwei Wochen nach der verheerenden Flutkatastrophe in Westdeutschland, die auch meine Heimatstadt betroffen hat, versuche ich mit diesem Foto meine Tätigkeit hier wieder fortzusetzen. Auch wenn ich selbst vom Hochwasser nur randlich betroffen war, hat die räumliche und emotionale Nähe zu einem der Zentren der Katastrophe meine Schwerpunktsetzung verändert.
Two weeks after the devasting flood which hit parts of western Germany and also my hometown I try to find back to my photographic activities. Even if I was only marginally affected by the flood, the spatial and emotional proximity to one of the centers of the disaster changed my focus.
