It was a rainy, windy day so I worked on drops. My liquids didn't behave well, so instead of fancy sculptures I concentrated on color blending, and was happy with this result. :)

Surface of small stream, with major color adjustments! Convection cells acting as small lenses, see another photo "Tiny Lenses".
Seen in the streambed of Winter Camp Wash in Arches National Park. The vertical length of the scene is aout 3 feet (90 cm).
This immediately reminded me of a tall statuesque lady, in long skirt, cape and hat with either a scarf blowing behind her, or an umbrella with its fabric blown away!
Another from the same series as the previous shot. I was surprised to find a reflection of the rim splash in the upper bowl! It was the only one of several similar shots to have the reflection.
It was a productive evening the other night, and was able to change shapes by tweaking numbers. This is the final one I'll post from this series. Ha! Maybe I should make a triptych of the last three shots! :)
This just reminded me of some sort of Goth gaming chair that you might see in Disneyland's Haunted Mansion!
the full size version of this one. It's called this partly because it reminded me of Holbein's painting 'The Ambassadors', with its anamorphic skull form in the foreground.
Also I saw the central part as a spaceform coming to visit us.
