Where blue meets green, you'll find a shade in between
Like the deep blue sea, bathed in key lime green.
Some call it turquoise, others, azure.
Regardless the color, it’s paradise for sure.
Location: Hutchinson Island, Florida

This is the sort of sunset sky we saw every evening in Florida last week! This shot was taken from the garden of the building where we stayed with our friends in their condominium.
More than 25,000 jeeps and 250,000 people in Daytona Beach for Jeep Week 2025. I suppose they won't know the final number until the week is over
OK fine, I'll post some more Flamingo photos. I photographed this trio this morning. I also read an article stating that beside the 50 or so flamingos being spotted around Florida, they have been spotted in Alabama, South and North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
Agkistrodon piscivorus
A handsome adult that was found emerging from a drying swamp in the late afternoon in south Florida. Despite their nasty reputation, cottonmouths prefer to avoid people and only become defensive when they are cornered or harassed.

I met my first wild alligator today. She was panhandling at a rest stop along Florida's infamous Alligator Alley. She was such a willing and lovely subject that I felt bad not sharing my lunch with her. She was clearly disappointed but feeding wildlife snacks isn't good for them or us so I managed to resist her mesmerizing charm.
My second time vacationing to Florida, and this time it was a far better photographic experience. Visited a lot of landmarks and attractions.
Wow wow wow. My visit to Gatorland I seriously expected it to be much like High Park Zoo. Just a quick walk though of a couple of gators. Boy was I wrong. Of all the zoos I’ve visited I would place this as the second best zoo. Beautiful exhibits, a huge amount of wildlife. I have never seen so many species of bird in one area at once. The cherry on top was their interactive shows. They really know how to perform for entertainment. I really wish that I can visit again one day. A truly great experience.
