This is a neighbours yard...Thank goodness for high fences
The "realfeel" is 100 degrees at 10:am...so looking over the fence is as far as I'm going today
For this week's Flickr Friday theme "white".
I've washed it this week, another job ticked off my lockdown "to do" list!

"Hidden" back of totem illustrating the Northwest Coast native folktale "Origin of the Eagle Clan." Carver: Dale Faulstich.
Slight reframe to show off the New Ray BMW motorcycle and the Barbie Cooper Mini. The bike is strategically parked to cover up the Ken vanity plates.
Having this theme seems to have been like carrying an umbrella - it has guaranteed fine weather all week.
So we decided we'd have to make our own weather, and it would have to be in a teacup.
"Fast" is a relative term. Cars and trucks are faster than a walking person... Does that make them "fast cars"?

Panning the camera on the tripod during a long exposure to try and simulate motion. I didn't get what I wanted, but I kind of like what I got.
An iconic feature across the entire American Suburban landscape: the food court at the shopping mall. This photo could be from any suburb in any state. It was taken at Greenbrier Mall in Chesapeake Va
Most people pass through the security checkpoint at Pittsburgh International Airport (PIA) and never look up at the ceiling. Many that do only see an airplane suspended from the ceiling. What they don't realize is that the "Miss Pittsburgh", a Waco 9 aircraft, was the very first plane to fly Air Mail in the Midwest US, taking off from Bettis Field in Pittsburgh, PA and landing in Cleveland OH on April 21, 1927. The plane, thought lost, was discovered in 1993 in a barn in New York and returned to Pittsburgh, where it was restored and now hangs from the ceiling over the TSA lines at PIA.
Knowing that I'd be passing underneath her this week on business travel, my iPhone would have to do, as I left my "good" camera at home. Maybe not as impressive as the ceilings in Rome that have been posted, but still an impressive ceiling adornment of historical significance.

Good thing we had chicken over the weekend, the bones came in handy for the Flickr Friday theme.
Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites.
In approxamently 4 hours I will be oven roasting a 7 pound pork butt. I have the butt rubbed with Rufus Teauge's pork rub. I will place it in the oven at 4am at 250 degrees and I expect it to be done around noon so I can serve it during the NFL playoffs
I prepared this Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce to go with the pork. Here is the recipe I used
1 cup yellow mustard
1/4 cup honey (I used clover honey)
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon chipotle pepper in adobo minced
1 tablespoon ketchup
2 teaspoons Worchestershire sauce ( I used Hendersons Relish)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
ground black pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients well.
For best results, refrigerate in an airtight container overnight to allow the flavors to develop.
To serve, warm in a pot over very low heat and use on grilled meats like pulled pork or chicken.
