When someone does not obtain success with their interests, talents, or personality until later in their lives, we say they are a late bloomer.
These flowers are blooming late due to the longer winter.
Everywhere in Asian cities, people move forward mainly on motorbikes. At best, ferry bikes can be found in rural areas and even there they are rather rare. I met this cyclist in Tangalle, in the south of Sri Lanka, in 2019. - Instagram 2020

We called this "gascomfort" in the Netherlands when I was young. Not that I'm old now.
This was a gift from my parents when I started my own household 43 years ago.
Wij noemden dit "gascomfort" in Nederland, toen ik jong was. Niet dat ik nu oud ben.

Triste, de finir sa vie au bord d'un trottoir, noyée par l'eau du ciel qui n'en finit pas de déverser son trop-plein de sentiments sur le monde, oui, mais ni vous, ni moi, ni cette feuille, ni même la planète ne s'en portera plus mal. Le cycle immuable des saisons et des vents qui guident la course des nuages le veut ainsi.
