This riverside restaurant glows like a living sculpture beneath the illuminated span of Bangkok’s Bhumibol Bridge. The bamboo curves breathe warmth and craftsmanship, while the magenta and amber lights pulse with modern energy — a reflection of the city’s creative spirit.
It’s a portrait of Bangkok at night: bold yet graceful, rooted yet futuristic. The interplay between organic design and engineered geometry mirrors the pulse of the Chao Phraya itself — ever moving, ever alive.

Happy anniversary to one of my favorite places in the world. John Muir's "Range of Light", Yosemite, was set aside by the federal government, today, 132 years ago. This action predates the founding of the National Park Service and even Yellowstone's incorporation as the first National Park. Yosemite came before all of that, set aside under the care of California, for all to enjoy. For me, Yosemite is the place of quiet contemplation and spiritual grandeur that really threw my love of the National Parks into overdrive. It is the best example of what 'America's best idea' is and an inspiration to the world. Happy anniversary, friend. I’m so happy I got to revisit you this summer and I can’t wait to return, again and again.

There are two festival in Islam. One is Eid Ul Fiter and other one is Eid Ul Adha. After one month of fasting Muslims are allowed to enjoy Eid Ul Fiter. Around two months later they slaughter animals by the name of Allah. That is Eid Ul Adha. Although in both Eid it is meant to be joy of giving. However it also open the door to all sorts of traders.
After couple of days later of Eid Ul Adha I visited a place where raw-lather of slaughtered animals were stored. It was not easy to work in a sloppy place like that. On the other hand they had no protective gear even during the world wide COVID 19 pandemic situation. This guy in the picture was waiting for the customer to sale raw-leather.
Super excited about this one. Hawk Hill is one intense place to go shooting, especially at night, and especially when it’s foggy. What I love about this photograph is that you can actually see the fog moving above the Golden Gate Bridge but you can also see it floating right in front of the hills and catching the beams of light from passing cars. The whole experience was surreal and ethereal and otherworldly; you feel like you’re perched above San Francisco, with the whole of the city and The Bay spread before you while the very air and sky in front of you glows and undulates and flashes with streaks of shimmering iridescent vapor. And of course, there’s The Golden Gate Bridge, looming in front of you, overpowering all in its presence, and happily spanning the whole horizon and defining the space. San Francisco is magic.

I’m a week late for my Halloween post. This is my Halloween post because this rock formation in Vermillion Cliffs looks like a witch’s hat. Or the Sorting Hat. From Harry Potter. Which wasn’t written by anyone of note and certainly not by someone who has abhorrent views about minorities. Anyway. Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas. Let’s not skip Thanksgiving either.
