It was great to be there some days before Christmas. I enjoyed it very much! Somehting to speed-down.
This is my friend Bobbi. Every morning Bobbi and his 3 siblings visit at breakfast time. I feed them peanuts, until the Bluejay bandits come along and spoil our fun. He peers in the window and sometimes stands up to let me know he's there and ready for breakfast.
Thank you so much for this beautiful cover! I am so happy and honored!!! Huge hugs and kissses♥♥♥♥

Given I got stung by a bee while trying to make this image, I thought I should post it even though I am not totally convinced by it.
I had the idea of doing the PEP Ventosa technique on the fruit bowl where you walk around it and take images in the round as a set of multiple exposures. Hence I was in the backyard in bare feet, walking around the fruit bowl which was propped up on a cardboard box with velvet draped around it. Pretty stupid when I am allergic to bees and generally swell up like an elephant. We got the sting out without the sac breaking I think so I got away with a localised swelling that hasn't spread.
Anyway, the multiple exposures didn't work so I used just one image and had fun playing with it.
I was standing on the Pier thinking how lucky this Guy is to be here in the California Sunshine… Then it dawned on Me that I Might be Lucky Too :-)

Ho Chi Minh City is at the stage where old Saigon meets the emerging modern metropolis that HCMC is about to become. This is also expressed in numerous architectural contrasts, as shown here. It seems that the pale blue background with the modern office complex is just a dead backdrop for the colorful, vivid foreground at the bottom right, with the idiosyncratic house and the tree.
