53cm or 21 inches measured on the patio table and it's still snowing...
Between 10pm and 9:45am, overnight, this much snow fell, a big snow event in a short period of time...
It was all hands on deck to shovel the driveway, with a shout out to the two neighbours with snow blowers who cleared the sidewalk and the end of the driveway...
Just a little bit of winter fun in the snow to make you smile...
Have a nice day! I'm heading outside to shovel the new large snowbank at the end of the driveway. :-)

This week's FlickrFriday theme is "Redo." I wanted to go out and retake a shot I wasn't happy with, but the only shots I really wish I could improve are the ones from special events. Instead, I decided to interpret it a little differently and take a shot with my old camera and my new camera. I happen to be renting a very expensive, similar but so much better, lens for my new camera that made this work out well.

This handsome creature, white or grey goshawk I think, landed on a neighbour's television antenna this morning and surveyed.
All my usual morning bird visitors became scarce while this beauty moved eyes and head from side to side, just checking out options. Occasionally his eyes landed on me with my camera and I momentarily felt a little like potential prey.
Stunning bird.
