This was my first shot in the Ukropolis drain when I took some friends out. I know this type of shot is pretty simple, just gelling but I really do love them. This was a damn long one here, close to a 13 minute photo of me just lighting the drain different colors and such. I had a friend come down to the end and I lit him from behind which is where the white light is coming from.
Straight out of the camera with no adjustments.
This antique Eveready flashlight was among my parents' effects when they died a number of years ago. Our son kept it as a memento. He recently researched it and discovered this model (#2602) was first manufactured in 1925. A folding ring at the back end indicates the model may have been discontinued in 1929. The curved lens is quite distinct. Fitted with "C" batteries, it still works. (I included my modern watch to give an idea of scale.)
On a related note, we still have my mother's Hamilton Beach "Mixette" hand mixer which was one of my parents' wedding gifts nearly 80 years ago. It still works too. They don't make things like they used to.

I noticed this translucent sign hanging in a window and decided to use my flashlight to cast a shadow of the sign onto the wall/ceiling of the shop.
I was invited by the Fundacja Ulica (fundacjaulica.pl) for workshops with Light Painting for kids teaching a photography. Great adventure, great time , a lot of fun! I'm happy that i can help!
Unfortunatelly ,we had not so many time, but otherwise everything was ok !
Coś pięknego :) pozdrawiam Was serdecznie!

I don’t know what it is with me and naked dudes… but I seem to attract them with my camera. I showed up way before sunrise on this morning to get a head start on composing my shot of Red Sand Beach in Hana. After being in this very dark canyon/crater, the sun started to light up the night sky and I was almost ready to put the flashlight away. As I turned around to move into another composition, I noticed that 2 girls had sat down on the beach behind me to watch the sun rise. Early birds like me :-)
That’s when he emerged from the bushes. Yes, from the bushes… wearing nothing. And I mean nothing. There he was, this dark skinned guy, with dreads for days, and his donger parked right in front of these two girls…
I’m not gonna lie, it was weird. He basically stood in front of them for about 2 minutes, just looking around, and then proceeded to wade into the ocean, to begin bathing himself…
This is too much for me to worry about, the sun is coming up and I am not gonna miss it. And I didn’t. It was a decent morning. As I began packing up, the two girls were gone, and my new found friend wanted me to take his picture. “Nope” was my reply. Not interested.
I shook my head and walked away with some great shots :-)
I really like that way these look with a modified antenna used in them. I have more antennas on the way; looks like I need more flashlights saber hilts!!
Day 216 [8-3-2016]
A successful video shoot. After work, The gang got together to continue filming of our new short film. We decided to take advantage of the lights that I got for christmas last year and wow did they turn out great! With the power of the gels from ALPS, those lights gave us the perfect lighting for the shots we wanted to get! They also made for some beautiful photos. Something about the blue and orange combination makes me very happy.
I can't wait to see what the next day brings!
The 2 yellow things are UHU brand
glue stick & general purpose glue
My 9th build from 31 builds that I plan to post everyday for HARDnuary 2015 building challenge.

The blue'ish light is me, the orange light is my friend... we're just running around with flashlights, and letting the camera do a long exposure, the lens was quite fogged up, that makes the halo effect..... =)
EDiM 2 a flashlight. I was going to quickly sketch a little Maglite, then I remembered this flashlight I have. I have wanted to draw it as part of a project of drawing family history objects and talking to family about it. watercolour pencil. see more in my Flickr album www.flickr.com/photos/alissaduke/albums/72157623122864175
Toa Payoh is one of the oldest housing estates in Singapore, and one used to think of the area as over-clustered housing blocks within a stone throw from each other.
For most part, the over-clustered part is still true. But what used to be old, rustic buildings has given way to tall and modern housing blocks that can rival even the newer estates like Punggol.
I have always been fascinated by this estate, I reckon this is my first ever shot of Toa Payoh, and it definitely will not be the last.

My son's at that great age when bringing a flashlight to bed and telling stories about animal shadows is pretty much the best thing ever... Tonight, tired from a very busy day, he fell asleep midway through.
More from the nightime routine here.
Oil floating on water in a glass dish on top of a cardboard box with a pane of glass over it. Colored tissue paper at the bottom of the box and a flashlight poked through a hole at the bottom of the box.
Like a bullet from a smoking gun
They try to tell us that we don’t belong
Creeping round at the depth of night
Just two shadows in love, we were ghosts
"A young tunnel scavenger is separated from her group. With nowhere else to go, she pushes through the aging utility tunnels, hoping they will eventually loop back to the main tunnel line. Only her flashlight provides any comfort, clearing a path through the darkness around her."

Just a scene I quickly put together. I guess you could say it's part of a Metro 2033 inspired story I'd been working on. I've been suffering pretty heard with major writers block ever since my accident. Because of that I don't really have much in terms of written story to go along with this. So instead I'm going more towards visual story telling.
The scene and lighting was actually pretty easy to put together. The only thing that was a pain was that lens flare effect. I probably spent an hour just figuring out how to make a good looking lens flare, and even still I'm not 100% satisfied.
very nice solo expedition ;) ....
only me, camera, flashlights, and forest
