Først på dagen var det så vindstille at man ikke kunne se det var et flag, men efterhånden luftede det så meget at jeg kunne tage dette foto.

At the moment my Flickr buddy Calvin is in the UK paying us a visit.

So here is a picture for Calvin to welcome him to our shores with a traditional British theme.

These are the flags flying high in Victoria train station and with the magic of colour popping hopefully I have created something a bit more special.

Hope you have a great time Calvin and hopefully we can hook up before you go back home.

Calvin is a very talented photographer with an inspirational stream so make sure you check it out by clicking his name to the right of this picture.

I really love vivid colors and lovely shape of these flowers, Lantana camara. I found them on the way to my laboratory also. Although their smell is not fragrant but their beauty is very attractive. Hope you like them..Have you seen something :-)? They are sweet smiling at you :-). Have a beautiful day. Keep smiling.g.g ;-).

Lantana camara, also known as Spanish Flag, is native to tropical regions in Central and South America. Lantana camara has been introduced into other parts of the world as an ornamental plant, it is considered an invasive species in many tropical areas.

It is sometimes known as "red (yellow, wild) sage", though it is not closely related to sage, and quite distantly related (as angiosperms go) to sagebrush.

Lantana has become popular in gardens, for its hardy nature. It is not affected by pests or disease, has low water requirements, and handles extreme heat. It is a favorite species of butterflies, and used in butterfly gardens in the United States. Some communities have found alternate uses for Lantana, as it is difficult to eradicate. Some household furniture, such as tables and chairs are made from the stalks, or the small branches are bundled together to make brooms.
