Because AUS is heading into winter we get more and more cool misty morning, I braved the cold and ventured to the lake. Five boats sat on the lake in the early morning mist.

Spring plowing.
*Note the seat from an old vehicle, with seat belts dangling down! Also the heavy rocks holding the plow down. Amish ingenuity.
Thank you, macro lens and photography, for opening my eyes to the wonders of the small world that surrounds us. High five, Seastar!
This species is definitely in my top five. That combination of yellow cap and chestnut sides is just amazing. I feel very fortunate to be able to see them all summer too as they breed near my home.

A dodecahedron used as a 12 sided die. Each face is a regular pentagon with 5 edges and 5 verticies. The 5 adjacent faces are also visible.
Illumination: LED spotlight with a opposing reflector for shadow fill.
After hearing that Q303 had one of the five remaining un-rebuilt MAC’s, I made the hour long drive to Augusta. After waiting for about five minutes I could see a headlight off in the distance. So I laid down and shot a few pictures of it before making the chase back west.
Haven't much time for gardening with fifteen staying here but some things carry on growing without to much help!
Greetings to you all and best wishes for a happy weekend!
Will catch up with you all when things quieten down around here........

Still sunning. Either the branch is sinking or the lake is rising. This should be my last photo of this thermo-regulating Anhinga. White Lake, Cullinan Park, Sugar Land, Texas.

Not the person to play poker with..;) My daughter couldn't believe the size of the cruise ships in Galveston. This shot is from an earlier trip. The weather didn't cooperate with our trip and it rained a lot, so we did in door tourist stuff. Her and grandson still had a great time. Neither had ever been to Galveston
This 120 foot long historic bridge is a rare surviving example of a truss bridge in Michigan. Built in 1930, the design is distinguished by its massive steel members and Parker pony truss configuration.
Looking close, you can see the new bridge in the background slightly above and beyond the old bridge. These bridges are located on Highway 65 just downstream from the Five Channels Dam west of Oscoda, Michigan.

The Citadel Steam Special tour train speeds past Ling Gill in Garsdale, powered by Ian Riley's Black Fives 44871 and 45407 on a chilly November 9th 2019. Always a delight to see the two Fives in action. (The classic view incorporating the platelayers' hut is becoming more difficult due to the growth of the lineside tree in the centre of the image,)

112. Clancy, 3yrs (on Nov 16)
Today we're back to cruisin' the Mer Bleue Conservation Area.
Two weeks ago I (Clancy) contracted an eye infection that after treatment returned to take over both eyes about five days ago. It's pretty well cleared up now, but there remains still some puffiness and discoloration.
News Flash: It's my third birthday on Monday, so we'll be posting something then instead of Throwback Tuesday.
