Fisheye view over the Bay of Naples from the town terrace in Sorrento

Fitting a lot into this scene here.. Trump Tower, Wrigley Building, DuSable Bridge, Tribune Tower, The Riverwalk and of course the river and some other buildings...

I took a photo with my EF-S 10-22mm a few weeks ago (see here www.flickr.com/photos/jaxartwork/15912664986/ ) & I have to admit the quality is better with that lens, but my fisheye allowed me to capture the whole scene. Maybe my focus was my problem here. (?)

A bit of fisheye fun in London using a Lomo camera and Fuji Superia 400...

Put it on cruise going down Hampton Blvd and hopped in the backseat.

Eh, just kidding, I was driving and had a tripod in the back seat leaning on the center console... The interior was shot seperate and is a composite of several shots with a bare flash fired from assorted angles. The bottom half was obviously blue gelled and is a composite of three shots, one left, one right, and one with the flash on the floor to get the peddles. The car does have a blue led light down there, just only illuminates the gear shift area but figured I'd exagerate the theme... Here is one without the blue.

new washing machines are pretty inside. Although this one sucks ass because it seems like it doesnt have any POWER like the other violent washing machine that is sitting outside rotting.

Most people would never let you take a portrait of them with a fisheye lens, because it tends to make them look a little odd.

Not Cherry though, she's braver than most!

About

This glass structure connects an old church on the left with a modern rusted metal and glass building on the right.

I don't know exactly what it is called, but what the heck, it looks good ;)

The shot

Standard 3 exposures [-2,0,+2EV] in IS0100/RAW at f/13 using the Sigma 10mm fisheye lens, on a tripod.

Photomatix

Tonemapped using the detail enhancer.

Photoshop

° Rotated a little, Stretched a little.

° Curves to deepen the tones.

° Extra saturation on blue + less lightness.

° Got rid of a green cast on the stones of the church behind the glass.
