The plate on the quarterdeck of HMS Victory indicating where Horatio, Viscount Nelson, Vice-Admiral of the White was fatally wounded when struck by a French musket ball on 21 October 1805 at the battle of Trafalgar.

I was scouting out a new place to take pictures and I ran across the remains of the old Coffeyville Memorial Hall. The building had burned down decades ago when I was just a little kid. Someone salvaged the stone columns and stone name plates. This place has been long forgotten; visited only by Mother Nature.

Tourists ahoy!

A large party of foreign students boarded HMS Victory behind us and eventually overtook us, though not without briefly getting in our way first! It was interesting how cramped the hold became once there were 30+ people in there. Other than that, the ship was roomier than expected, though I had to duck down a lot of the time because of the low ceiling.
