There were so many pictures, so many cute pictures, that I could have chosen to represent me for this year, but I chose this gem for you.
Where should we start? How about the 15-inch rise on those cordoroys? Or maybe the unfortunate nip that's showing through the thin t-shirt? How about the hideous duffle bag, the first in a long line of gold-colored accessories I would buy between middle school and high school?

They affixed a fine label (one of my newest treasures) to her and her backpack. I don't remember for sure, but I don't remember being tagged like that back in '73. :-)
