My second of three screw drivers on the plane. The flight just isn't long enough for me ever to make it to four, much as I always want to. Something different happened this time, though, and I don't know if maybe it was because I drank them so much earlier in the day than usual? (The flight left at 11:05 a.m.) But they were slightly stronger than they usually seem to be, and there was no regular meal, presumably to help absorb the alcohol, because this plane was not catered round trip out of L.A. as they said it usually is. So, the only food I had was a bunch of junk: a muffin, an almond snack bar, a bag of Fritos, a tiny packet of plain m&m's. I can only assume all of this conspired to making me feel like shit as of about 5:00 later that afternoon, in Los Angeles. I even took a nap, and only felt slightly better -- this after Shobhit and I stopped at Samosa House for a rather full meal on the way home from the airport. It wasn't until I had an omelet for dinner that I really started to feel better again. It was like I had a mid-day hangover.
