American Red Cross First Aid Services Team (FAST) coordinator Becky Allendorf checks on a State Fair patron who is feeling unwell.
FAST staffs more than 100 local events a year to help respond to medical emergencies. Of the 3,200 cases they respond to each year, 1,000 occur at the Kentucky State Fair—the group's largest event. FAST has four stations located around the fairgrounds with 13 team members on duty at all times to make sure the ill or injured receive aid as soon as possible.

Benefits & Use
Recovery
Many like to choose Biofreeze instead of consuming strong medications like NSAIDs or addictive narcotics. For those who are partaking in physical or occupational therapy, it can help them with their treatments by providing relief and making the prescribed exercises more manageable. If you know you are going to be moving a lot or even before you start your exercise, take the Biofreeze spray with you so you can prevent pain before you start your exercise. The spray is also a good solution if you don’t have someone with you who can apply the product in hard-to-reach areas.
Chronic Pain
Chronic pain is pain that lasts for weeks or even years. It may be plantar fasciitis, arthritis, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia or another type of pain keeping you from living your best life. Biofreeze is convenient to help you feel better whether you’re out to dinner with friends or on a long car ride. The roll-on is a great option if you are out and about and want to apply the product without having to use your hands. It does have a menthol smell so if you’re wanting to apply it right before eating, the roll-on would be a great choice.
Back Pain
Often, ice is recommended for pain relief, but Biofreeze helps muscles relax faster. Most people will experience back pain at some point, whether it is a serious injury or a pulled muscle. The classic gel product or cream formula is perfect for spreading over large areas like the back. In this way, the product prohibits pain signals from traveling to the brain because of the cooling effect that tricks nerve cold receptors. It is also able to help increase blood flow to the injured area of the back to help with inflammation. If you have someone to help apply this on your back, give it a try!
As you can see, the benefits of Biofreeze are really endless! So if you’re looking for effective pain treatment, reach out today.http://acgmedicalsupply.com/

When we stopped for lunch, my feet were already reminding me of my unusually protruding calcaneous bones (the protrusion on the rear of the heal). I removed my hiking shoes to discover awful open blisters about the size of quarters on each foot. With little room for complaining or quitting, I bust out the duct tape and did what I could to remedy the situation. The wounds remained painful every step of the remaining 40+ miles.
