I was invited to shoot some more photos at the Alarmfase 026 (Stichting NCO Arnhem & Nationaal Noodnet) atomic bunker/museum.

It is located in the former PTT (PTT, Nederlands) NCO Arnhem communications bunker, constructed under "De Leuke Linde" playground during the Cold War (Koude Oorlog).

After the Cold War ended, it was used as a high-secure relay station for the Nationaal Noodnet emergency communications network.

This photo was taken by attaching my camera to a light stand (my tripod didn't go high enough) and pressing it up to the ceiling of the bunker complex.

The basic emergency kit should include items so you and your family can own your own for at least 72 hours. The kit should be easy to carry, like a back pack. Water, or ways to purify or clean water, food that won't spoil, flashlight and batteries, battery-powered or wind-up radio and a first-aid kit are just some of the items to consider. Another essential is a copy of your emergency plan, with in-town and out-of-town contact information. . Learn about putting together an emergency plan and preparing an emergency kit, visit:

The contents of the first aid kit I carry around in my KAP bag. This is a fairly stripped-down first aid kit, but it still offers a lot of versatility, and can handle most minor wounds.

Mostly I use this kit for treating myself. Nonetheless, along with it I typically carry a pulse oximeter and a pocket mask for giving rescue breathing during CPR.

Something missing from most of my first aid kits is scissors. I really like to have dressing scissors in my kits, but I also hate to be pulled out of line at the airport for them. So I quit carrying them.

"Made it to a small, burnt out village. Unfortunately I dropped my M4 when I was running from this chopper. Good thing it left. Otherwise I would have been toast. Anyway, I came across these Shadow Company fellas, who were beating the c**p out of some guy. 'Hell to this' I thought, but when I looked closely to the guy they were beating up, I saw that it was a fellow TF141 soldier! So, I decided to get down there and save his butt. As I drew near, I took out my only weapon, my KA-BAR and stabbed one of the men. I picked up his weapon and went round a corner. I thought that it would have been a bad idea if I fired a round. So, I pulled out my knife again and rushed the second Shadow Companier. He only managed to pull out his gun before I stabbed him through the chest. The injured TF141 soldier was barely alive. Luckily I saved my first aid kit. He is still recovering." ~ Lord
