I went to the Osborne Park St John Ambulance Training Centre and spent two days doing the Senior First Aid Course because my social conscience has been prompting me to develop skills in First Aid.

High school students from the Oelwein Community School District joined the University of Iowa Health Care STEM Education Programs for STEM tours visit. The students met with a resident to learn about the life of a forensic pathologist while working in the Decedent Care Center. The Oelwein students learned about first aid burn care at the Burn Treatment Center. Then the high school students got to participate in some of their own lab work at the women’s health tissue repository. The students ended the visit with a tour of the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital.
Fisherman were given a student manual during a first-aid training in Newport on May 20, 2022. This is Truck #4, a 2009 sprinter ambulance. This was my rig for a stand by event in which our EMS bike team rode at. In fact that's my bike in front of the picture! This ambulance is owned by First Aid and Safety Patrol, who operate out of Lebanon PA. (http://www.faspems.com)
