Emma got very into the movie and was a little frightened at times, but was also cheering when the good things happened.
I had seen people have hot pot in Vancouver but did not know there is a bit of a secret to what is really involved. I share my first hot pot experience with you and spill the foodie beans: www.suziethefoodie.com/my-first-hot-pot/
Bags... I got this green bag and a purse from a lady called Lin Crane. She designs and makes them all by herself. Very beautiful.
This is my "where am I going" picture I'm not saying I'm going to get married, but I want to stay in the South and see more moments like this which I sure there will be a growing number.
Hey, check that out, free piano! Good thing for us we want to keep it. Might need to rip out the molding paneling though.
New Orleans has always been on my short list of Places I Must Go. It has always appealed to me, for the artistic and the historical as much as the wild side of it.
I finally got the chance to go this past weekend with my friend, Kh. She and I had an absolutely amazing time, and with both of us having cameras superglued to our hands, it made it even more fun.
We are already planning a return trip next year on the weekend in which Krewe Du Vieux parades; that was too good to miss. The food, the people, the architecture, the pageantry, the revelry, the total lack of inhibitions, all of it is New Orleans, and all of it is firmly planted in my heart.
ZAHS advanced band performs at Grandberry Mall
Zama American High School’s advanced band played for the first time in a local foreign national concert venue May 22 at Grandberry Mall.
Kevin Hanson, Zama American School band teacher, said he has been here nine years and they have been unable to find a venue off-base.
“For this performance opportunity, we had to send a video of the band to be asked/accepted to play,” said Hanson.
The symphonic band of 41 students played a variety of music to include some Disney movie themed music, Batman’s theme song and the Mission Impossible movie theme song.
Hanson said the mall manager was watching the crowd and everyone seemed to enjoyed it.
“We were invited to come back anytime,” said Hanson. (U.S. Army photo by Alia Naffouj)
