While going on a winter hike I noticed this little hut on the other side of the lake. The water was incredibly clear and had such a lovely colour
WE GOT CLOBBERED!! 20" of snow in 24 hours on October 12 and 13. Never happened in recorded history this early in Buffalo, NY. The wet snow accumulating on leaves still on branches broke thousands of trees and took down power lines. Over 300,000 customers were without power. Our power was out for two days. Basement flooded. With the heat off, our home temperature dropped the 59 degrees. Power came on as we were loading the car to go to a hotel with our Cookie cat. Glad to be back on flickr. Thanks for all your comments. Looks like the storm is over... this is how much snow we have accumulated tonight. Most likely everything will melt away tomorrow... it is just not cold enough.
