gotta love that first snow on the 2nd of October!!

Looking parallel to the river Bistrica back towards the snow covered Basajkovac Brdo (Hill). Today 14th Dec 2009 there was fresh snow falling and laying on the floor...not many footmarks, I went with Bisera and the camera to post my Xmas cards and took these shots on the journey back around the edge of town (Livno - Western Bosnia).

I'm not even sure if this is grammatically correct.

It's my hand, I'm a Hand, and it's a hand print. Oooh! Now I've got a headache!

The still fluid pond snuggles up to the snow-covered shore, providing background contrast.

Today the seasons crossed, yet this final rose sips the snow.

Snow! Finally! We were all super excited that it finally snowed. not a lot, but enough. Willow was pretty excited about it and Gordon was positively giddy. The chickens? not so much.

Just like Life - Autumn fled in an hour, today. From the first warnings on the bronzed hydrangea, now all is white-topped and bowed.

Thanks to Maree for her determination to head out into the snow and capture the early morning light, whilst I was contemplating the warm duvet I'd left behind.

The snow passed over and the sunrise broke through :)
