I joked that I was waiting for God to arrive to crack it open and enjoy it. I guess God got here last Sunday night.

There is a 4-inch+ variation between the high and low points in the room; that is, I suppose, what happens with 158-year-old joists.

Neat to see a great illustration of how solids deform the same way as liquids. I wonder how old this freakin mirror is?... Cause it's as distorted as "fecal-matter".
Sara Musick sits on her bed with her dog, Lucy, in the room she grew up in when she was little. Musick has moved back in with her parents and is searching for a house of her own now that she is out of college and grad school.

This is my first home . . . I was adopted in December of 1946 when I was five months old, and this is the home we lived in in the Garden Hills area of Atlanta, the first "Official" subdivision in Atlanta. I lived there from 1946 until January of 1955 when my mother got very sick with colon cancer. I moved in with my mom's sister and brother-in-law, and never went back home after mother died in June of 1955.
