Mobile video by Florian Keclik. The "Feuerrad" was a project by Werner Pfeffer: 40 "firebugs" displayed the fireworks from the Big Wheel at the Opening of the expo "Höhenrausch"

In french, this bug is commonly called "gendarme" because of the red and black uniform of the gendarmes centuries ago.

The English name 'firebug" suits this insect well too!

I had a hard time taking a picture of it as is was constantly moving.
