cleaning up my desk, I had this wad of firebug meeting notes that ended up in the project wiki afterwards.
Not a very significant picture, I just liked all the different lights that came out in this shot. This is also for Tom, he laughed for about an hour after I took this shot because I was revealing a little plumbers crack at the time and he thought that was hilarious.... we were at his parents erecting a garden shed and I was taking a break, looking for creatures...

The firebug, Pyrrhocoris apterus, is a common insect of the family Pyrrhocoridae. Firebugs generally mate in April and May. Their diet consists primarily of seeds from lime trees and mallows.
Folksy name : Lantharis rustica.
