We found these swarming on a dead branch. Some individuals only have three dots on their abdomen. I suspect those must be the nymphs of this species, as of yet I haven't found any conclusive material though.
The markings on the 'two-eyed' ones are awesome, they remind me of little African Masks.

Fire Bugs can't fly, they 'suck' fallen seeds and attack other insects (1) they can feed on their own dead as well, according to Wikipedia [NL]: the colour of the bug depends on the surrounding temperature.(2)

Had this for a while, was just waiting to get wings.
There's been a lot of fires set in recent months – all by the same person, no doubt. One of our local firebugs has developed a taste for abandonment, burning down the memories I'd rather nature be left to rot and rust. This was one of my favorites, found with my wife on the week before our wedding, and revisited countless times since. It was featured in my book, Dereliction Is Better than Fiction, where I shared my photos/prose and called it Cryer's Paradise. That name comes from an old Ron Hynes song, but now all her weeping is over. She's dead and gone, like Mr. Hynes himself, just ash and cinder, blown by with the dust of last year's crops. It's a shame to see time cut to the chase, because with sturdy walls and a metal roof, there was a lot of crumbling coming. But despite the bastard arsonist, there's still love lingering, grisly beauty in the gristle of history smoldering. Here's to what's hanging on.

His unholy and unroyal psychotic entity Dr. debilis causa mett wurst Onkel Wart sends you this low--fi Rorschach test straight from the Yucatan peninsula. He discovered this weird pattern on the back of a fire bug that spews instant dementia.
(The lack of quality and image resolution is due to some old gas powered scanner he used for transmitting)
Right now he's recovering from this shock in Brasil by applying a special diet based entirely on a steady flow of caiprihinia and an occasional pina colada.
Watch out for more news on his highness on this stream of unconciousness!
Firebugs
On a Sunday walk I saw something red on a tree trunk. Thought of something like a mushroom until I took a closer look. On the trunk there were hundrets of these bugs.

A bunch of firebugs on an old railway sleeper. All of them nicely decided to pose for me, but just as I took the shot one of them decided to run away.
ほとんどのPerkは、普通にプレイしてもレベル3くらいがやっとで、それ以上は厳しすぎる。(特にサポートの溶接、コマンドーのストーカー狩り)
高レベルになるには、ゲームの寿命を縮めることにも繋がるけれど、ソロプレイでズルッコして上げるか、むちゃくちゃプレイ数をこなさねば上げられません(ﾟ∇ﾟ;)
つうこって、ある程度プレイして、まだレベルを上げたいんだけど限界を感じた時のレベリングお勧め場所を一部紹介。

サポートが低レベルの時、ショットガンダメージを稼ぐには、Gorefast(ゴアファスト)か、ビギナーレベルでFleshPound(フレッシュパウンド)を倒すと吉。
Commando(コマンド)
kf-Survivalマップで、ストーカー狩り用。
全方向から来るので、ある程度レベルの高いバーサーカーで対応。パニックに陥りやすいので注意→わち(T-T)
Sharpshooter(シャープシューター)
kf-rsix-map2マップのトレーダーの真後ろ。
試したことなす。
完全では無いけれど、ある程度防げるウエストロンドンマップの地下トレーダーに降りる扉の向かって右側にある塀のくぼみでいい感じ。
シャープシューターはヘッドショットでトドメを刺せば良いので、基本的にどんな職業でも、どこのマップでも問題なす。
それぞれ、最初のウェーブをどう凌ぐかが問題で、ある程度高いレベルのPeakをひとつ持ってないと無理。
Demolitionsが上げやすいので、これをノーマルレベルのFleshPound(フレッシュパウンド)位からコンサートホールで鍛えるといい感じ。
ちなみに、ゲームモードのシングルプレイだと反映されないことがあるので、パスワード設定したLANサーバーを自分で立ててプレイすると吉。
Wow. I just discovered that Google's Chrome browser has a built-in feature called Developer Tools that acts a lot like the indispensable Firebug plug-in in Firefox. This is A Very Good Thing.
