Export Gold certainly wouldn't be my first choice of beer but I'd maybe rethink if I had 1800 Litres!

Well Pandoras Box has well and truly been opened since I bought my first Zuru Metal Machines generic back in August! I have for years vowed never to touch such generic dross but here I am now on my sixth example!

Where once the likes of Realtoy, Maisto, Motormax, Welly and Summer etc... once dominated the budget end of the market here in the UK they have all given way to these and the equally generic HTI Teamsterz line up.

My nearest Tesco stores no longer stock any Matchbox and have instead replaced them with Zuru and for some reason I do feel compelled to pick up the ones which are at least faintly believable in style. Their Inferno Fire Engine reminds of the generic designs Matchbox used to put out up until only a few years ago when mercifully they ditched the majority of their generics and replaced them with proper licensed models.

Plastic bodied and pseudo futuristic in styling it is at least solidly built and nicely painted.

Mint and boxed.
