There's nothing better than curling up in front of a roaring fire with a book and hot toddy!

More pictures of the ice sculptures at Town Square Park in Anchorage. This was one of my favorites, the light on this was just great for night shots, and the distortion of the light by the ice is pretty cool...

Got bored at home.. So I took the camera out and saw that mum was burning some litter.. This happens in the islands on a daily routine, especially because of the mosquitoes. So I got close to the fire. I inhaled a lot of the smoke, and almost fainted. But at least I got this cool shot.. ^_^

We burned a few things in the garden in a tyre. I know it's a bit naughty but it started making these 'poing' noises as the steel radials started snapping. Wicked!

The cool thing about fire is that it is open to interpretation. People will see different objects within the dancing flames. The trick is to get other people to see what you are seeing. Please have fun with this one and tell everyone what you see, or leave a note to point it out to everyone!

Fire and the U.S. Forestry Department) were needed to fight this Major Emergency Brush Fire. 12,000 residents were evacuated and 615 structures destroyed.
