Wall Street, home to the US stock market.

I think this was just an experiment on Dad's part. One of my brothers worked on a trading floor around this time, but I don't see him in this. (And I'll save you some effort, the web is pretty quiet about who Gene Bukovsky was. Maybe there's a Who's Who In Journalism on some library shelf...)

Ah, but this is from a clip on YouTube:

The New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street flying an American flag. I never realized how difficult this location is to photograph until I got there. Very narrow streets and security fences make photographing the New York Stock Exchange especially difficult.

I took this photo of the New York Stock Exchange, draped with the American Flag, on Wall Street, on my first trip to New York City in October 2004.

After the tragic events of September 11, 2001, the NYSE building is well protected. Not only is the entrance guarded 24/7, it is surrounded by an iron fence and concrete barriers (the planters), AND there was a big pickup truck parked across the entrance to Wall Street here, and since Wall Street is so narrow, it blocked all vehicular traffic on the street.

MORE INFORMATION OF THE NYSE:

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), nicknamed the "Big Board", is a New York City-based stock exchange. It is the largest stock exchange in the world by dollar volume and, with 2,764 listed securities, has the second most securities of all stock exchanges. Its share volume was exceeded by that of NASDAQ during the 1990s. As of December 31, 2006, the combined capitalization of all New York Stock Exchange listed companies was $25.0 trillion.

The NYSE is operated by NYSE Euronext, which was formed by its merger with the fully electronic stock exchange Archipelago Holdings and Euronext. The New York Stock Exchange trading floor is located at 11 Wall Street, and is composed of four rooms used for the facilitation of trading. The main building, located at 18 Broad Street between the corners of Wall Street and Exchange Place, was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1978.

The origin of the NYSE can be traced to May 17, 1792, when the Buttonwood Agreement was signed by twenty-four stock brokers outside of 68 Wall Street in New York under a buttonwood tree. On March 8, 1817, the organization drafted a constitution and renamed itself the "New York Stock & Exchange Board". (This name was shortened to its current form in 1863.) Anthony Stockholm was elected the Exchange's first president. In 1922, a building designed by Trowbridge & Livingston was added at 11 Broad Street for offices, and a new trading floor called "the garage". Additional trading floor space was added in 1969 and 1988 (the "blue room") with the latest technology for information display and communication.

Dedicated to Henry Paulson. Given the turbulence in the financial markets at the moment, I thought this shot was appropriate...

We were stuck in London on a miserable summer's day (30 June 2007 - very wet) and couldn't figure why everything was SO crowded. The reason became clear shortly afterwards as almost 500,000 people participating in 'Pride London 2007' marched their way down Regent's Street. I grabbed my camera a little too late but still managed to pick off quite a few very colourful shots. Enjoy!

With a 700 year history it’s one of the oldest markets in London even though the current design only dates back to 1881 when Sir Horace Jones created this structure. It’s located in the City of London and surrounded by all these huge office building of the financial market.

On the left the Willis Building, designed by architect Norman Foster (as is The Gherkin I posted may 23). It’s 125 meters tall. It’s build like the shell of a lobster and opened its doors in April 2008.

In the middle the Lloyd's building with its Bowellism architecture where everything that’s usually hidden inside is put on the outside which gives it an industrial look I quite like. The architect is Richard Rogers and it was opened by Queen Elizabeth II on 18 November 1986.

On the left there is just a little bit of the Leadenhall Building (a.k.a. The Cheesegrater) which is almost finished. This is a really special skyscraper because it has a prefab steel exoskeleton. There wasn’t enough room to build conventionally so it’s kind of an IKEA skyscraper; you just have to screw everything together. With 40,000 parts that’s not an easy task though. It’s 225 meters tall and the architect is Rogers Stirk Harbour and Partners.

Everything you know about the Stock Market is about to change.

Treadwell Stanton DuPont has the capacity, the means and the technology to accurately predict US and Foreign Stocks, Mutual Funds and ETFs with a degree of certainty previously unheard of.

This multi-part series outlines the inner workings behind this remarkable technology, which was once thought impossible. This first video outlines Treadwell Stanton DuPont account basics.

Anyone, anywhere, can now have access to reliable, accurate and timely U.S. and foreign stocks, mutual funds and ETFs forecasting which will allow them to make millions on the stock market.

This is NOT a trading platform. We don't sell stocks, securities or any kind of investment vehicle. No type of order execution or trading can be performed using a Treadwell Stanton DuPont account. We don't do stock or fund recommendation lists or top picks, either.

We provide world-class, state-of-the-art artificial intelligence 1-week forecast charts for over 640 U.S. and foreign stocks, mutual funds, and ETFs. This has enabled our 170 clients to make a profit from $125,000 to over $400,000 per week, consistently, trading on the stock market.

This technology is NOT a zero-sum game. All investors using this astounding platform WILL make huge amounts of money... LOTS of it. One's gain is not another's loss. That's why there is only a limited amount of Treadwell Stanton DuPont accounts available at any given moment, which is about 130 available as of this writing.

As usual, registering for an account is free.
