Photograph taken in the magic of the Golden hour around sunset at 19:55pm at an altitude of Thirty three metres on August 25th 2011 off the Bow of a BC Ferry heading from Tsawassen to Swartz Bay in British Columbia, Canada.
We have just passed the Bellhouse Provincial Park on Galiano Island on our left and behind us is Mayne Island and others in the Gulf Islands of British Columbia, Canada. This journey marked our arrival home to beautiful Sidney by the Sea on Vancouver Island following a ten hour British Airway flight from terminal 5 London Heathrow.

Hotel Puri Mesari 15/03/2011 16h50
Around half past four we arrived at our destination in Bali; Hotel Puri Mesari in Sanur. For our driver Herry and guide Aris it was time to say goodbey to us. After being together with them for 15 days it was time for us to find our own way in Bali. Fifteen days of great company and Herry and Aris took us from Jakarta in West Java all the way here to Bali and they had to return empty to Java to await the next tourists.

Amidst the beauty lies a sadness, the end of a month long vacation home to see our family in beautiful Sidney by the Seas on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. The ferry journey back through Active pass and onwards to Vancouver Internation Airport (YVR) for a ten hour flight courtesy of British Airways back to England. I guess there is always the next trip to look forward to....

This was a wonderful trip full of many happy memories. Ten days of fun on the open ocean throughout the warm and beautiful Caribbean Seas. We were concerned about the civil unrest in the Honduras area and were afraid that it might effect this trip. It did. We were supposed to visit Belize as one of our ports of call. The radio signal was cut off to our ship and they did not allow us entry into their port. Our ship's captain said it was choppy seas related but we heard otherwise. Regardless, it was a fun trip during the Christmas Holiday. I hope you enjoyed my images on this ten day adventure and my captures of its wonderful people, beautiful landscapes, its unique wildlife and plantlife, and the beautiful ocean vistas. Cruising is so much fun! You only have to unpack once. We saw some great shows at sea on-board, and met some very nice people that traveled for this trip from all around the world. Thanks for visiting my photostream! See you on the next trip and remember; you only live once, so why not get out there and travel to see this glorious and beautiful world that we live in, you will never regret it! ~ Pete
