First shot in the middle of the street. There were some "oh crap" moments when I didn't notice cars, but I really needed to capture this scene because it was so beautiful. That car came in just when I was about to go and shoot and kind of went "darn", but I actually like it there now.

This is my first shot of my new 52 Weeks. I decided not to do self-portraits because, well, I didn't really like my previous ones. I named this first one "Final Destination" to show I am looking at the end of this 52 weeks, meaning I'll finish it.

Oh, and I think this 52 Weeks set will be all HDR.

The end.

(Noticing when I took this picture makes me feel comfortable about how early I came home from the Christmas party....

*Spoilers*

1. Freddy (Return of the living dead) / Tommy Jarvis (Friday the 13th VI)

Double duty here, and funny enough, my hottie is at fault for the murders and mayhem in BOTH freaking movies! In Friday he is the 3rd actor in as many films to play Tommy Jarvis, Jason's biggest nemesis. Who thinks digging up Jason (with the help if Horseshack) is a good idea! In ROTLD He plays the punk Freddie who accidently releases the chemical that bring the dead to life. He gets to wear red suspenders!

A Means To An End: While Tommy Jarvis totes kicks Jason's zombiefied ass, Freddie turns into a zombie and tries to eat his girlfriend Tina's braaaaaain. So he wins some and loses some

2. Ash (Evil Dead Trilogy) Ash is the chainsaw wielding Groovy deadite killin man!

A Means To An End: Survivor. I think Ash is still workin at S-Mart...

3. Ian (Final Destination 3)Plays sarcastic goth kid

Means To An End: Well, since I just said he plays the sarcastic goth kid, it's fairy obvious that he's a goner. I mean he might as well be the Fat Comic Relief or Black Asshole. While he makes it to the last 10 minutes, he inevitabley gets chopped in half by a sign.

4. Barry (I Know What You Did Last Summer): Plays the douchebag of the group. Oh and he totally chokes out Jennifer Love Hewitt, so Hi-5!!!!

A Means To An End:

Barry gets out of the shower and proceeds to the locker room which for reasons not explained has no lights. Scary music plays so we're all expecting a post-shower rape scene right? Nope the killers just fucking with him. Later, after waaay too much of the movie has gone by and waaay to little bloodshed he gets stabbed with a hook. Yawn.

5. Glenn (Nightmare On Elm Street): Glenn can't even stay up til midnight, even after half his friends die in their sleep and his girlfriend calls and tells him to stay the fuck awake.

A Means To An End: www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QmgrX7ZVJw

6. Pike (Buffy The Vampire Slayer) That's not a name, it's a fish!

A Means To An End: Luke Perry is immortal folks.

7. Winston (Cabin Fever): He's the party man! Best. Cop. Ever. He steals every scene he's in.

A Means To An End: Winston lives to party another day man, Yay!

8. Spike (Buffy The Vampire Slayer): Hottest villian since the Mayor. I like my Spike bad. Buffy + Spike = stake him!

9. Norman Bates (Psycho): Ok sure he's a bit of a mama's boy, and he stuffs animals, and he's crazy and homicidal, but hey, he owns his own business!

10. Rick ( Nightmare on Elm Street 4) : OMG, my longest running crush! Rick played the kung fu fighting bro of our final girl. He was nice and didn't fit in with any of the horror character stereotypes. On paper, he should have survived to the rolling credits. What happened??

Means To An End?: I'm gonna blame this all on lack of sleep... After falling asleep on the toilet Rick starts karate chopping an invisible Freddy. He kicks the glove off Fred's hand and proceeds to mock Krueger.Ermmm Freddy's invisible remember? So he can (and does) walk over invisibly and gets said glove, and stabs my baby in the stomach. Beauty and brains..apparently too good to be true.

Later in the movie Freddy eats a meatball with Ricks face on it. Freddy is now mocking him for making so many dumbass moves in the span of 5 minutes.

How sad . You gave your all for this country you called home during WW2, while family and friends sat in Internment camps here on US soil. That never should have happened, some of you died not knowing if your family would ever be released.

wretched.org/the-biggest-question-movie/

I love my country my son serves in the U.S. Marines and other family has served our country in the other branches of service. But lets not fool ourselves and think, by saying "God Bless America" that God is on board with everything we do. We DO NOT!! have the most powerful military in the world it's all an illusion. God sets one up and God takes one down. Any military might we have is due to God.

Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.

Psalm 127:1

We get it wrong, we talk all this stuff about God Bless America, God Bless America . It should be, "God have mercy on America in Your wrath". God aint no Republican or Democrat, Liberal or a Conservative a Commie or a Capitalist. We as a nation have turned our backs on God and basically we do what seems good to us, we act as if there is no moral absolutes. The 10 commandments are more like the 10 suggestions. We act like God winks and looks the other way... AND MORE NONSENSE like that.

We like to talk about the Love of God but don't want to bare in mind He is a God of justice. He is angry with the wicked every day.(Psalm 7:11) We lost our way a long time ago. Folks want to talk about the former days as the good old days.....

Never ask “Why does the past seem so much better than now?” because this question does not come from wisdom. (Ecclesiastes 7:10)

Former days in America is fraught with mans in humanity to man, taking of land from the native Americans, enslaving my people the Black man in the name of the almighty dollar, free labor. Black soldiers returning from various wars they fought in for our nation still had to deal with discrimination as a 2nd class citizen. After WW2 Black GIs did not receive full benefits of the GI bill aimed to help American World War II veterans adjust to civilian life by providing them with benefits including low-cost mortgages, low-interest loans and financial support, due to Jim Crow laws that limited or banded many Blacks from getting loans from banks and mortgage agencies. So, some where in the world at any time in HIStory and right NOW somebody or group of people is suffering. God don't want to hear about the Good old days. Jesus said , "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself". Matthew 22:36-40

We see race , we see economic woe, we see gender bias, we see self, we see what we want to see, bla, bla, bla the list goes on

& on...... That's how the world turns, but God sees a sinful lost people that need a Savior. Don't tell me about "GOD BLESS AMERICA" We need to be down on our hands and knees begging God to forgive us for our ungodly ways and behavior. How do we explain away all the aborted babies. Feminist scream about women's rights what about the rights of the unborn many of whom are female. "Good God please have mercy on America" , needs to replace "God Bless America". God could very easily use one of our enemy nations to cripple us financially or attack us with WMD as a form of punishment to wake us up. I dare say our 2 biggest problems is we are unthankful & have a disdainful, haughty attitude. God hates Pride and a proud look and arrogance.

God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.

Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, NO, NOT ONE.(Psalm 53:2-3)

The problems America faces transcend race, economics, culture & borders . We have much to repent for and much to ask God to help us with.

We've flipped the script .....we call evil good and good evil, we put darkness for light and light for darkness; we put bitter for sweet , and sweet for bitter!

(Isaiah 5:20)

Yeah, yeah, I'm dirty too... We all got some vice, sin, habit , skeleton hanging out in our closet. We struggle with Pride, Narcissism, Hate, Unforgiving /grudges, Pain, Greed, Criminal behavior, Addictions, or whatever tortures you when you lay your head on your pillow at night. We all need a good washing, washed in the shed blood of Jesus Christ who died on the cross and rose from the grave for our sins. No matter what we have done, He can Forgive us. There are those out there that are struggling with hate for the terrible unmentionable things done to them in their past trying to numb their pain or blaming them self for something they didn't cause. Yall can't fix the mess apart from a supernatural force, Christ can fix it. Yes the way is narrow. We can debate and twist and shout about there are many ways to God or there is no God, but , Tick-Tok when your time is up and you are eventually standing before HIM when you open your eyes on the other side, what will u do or say after you discover Jesus Christ the son of God is the only way to God?

We accuse God of a lot things, unfair, mean, hard, intolerant , evil, restrictive, not listening..... God creator of the universe and beyond is infinite and his greatness no one can fathom. He is immeasurable, limitless, and without end. The creatures with the finite minds and a sinful nature seem to have a problem with the creator. WOW, imagine that. MANY insist on doing it their way. "I got this, I don't need some bearded tooth fairy in the sky called God to show me how to live My life". It still won't change where you are going when you die (yeah keep on believing Hell aint real at your own peril). We all have a conscious, we instinctively know right from wrong, we lie to ourselves and stroke ourselves and deep down inside when alone with our thoughts in the booth in the back in the corner in the dark recesses of our mind we hope when we bounce off this rock we disappear completely or into an eternity of our own imagination where we hope God will give us some slack. (Okay , keep Hope Alive, whateves) We lie to self and say, " Yeah it's kool .....hell I aint so bad" Just remember there are lots of Twilight Zone episodes that did not have a happy ending. The graveyard is full of folks that had good intentions and missed the mark, coz God and/ or Jesus Christ in their minds is for kids, the elderly, superstitious & the weak minded.

Jesus Loves you more than you know, He knows your back story everybody has one, there is nothing to shameful that has happened to you or too awful that you have done that He can't fix, but you got to seek Him out. All man kind is fallen, lost, blind, naked & dirty. Not only does the scriptures show God cast men into hell, but mans willingness to reject Christ sends him there.....

but you say , "The church is full of hypocrites.” That’s okay. There’s always room for one more. Don't let that be your excuse for not going. Following Christ is a life long journey.

It's not the perfection but direction of your faith & life.

Below is a portion of a radio transcript I heard from Pastor Chip Ingram of Living on the Edge ministries.

The Transforming Power of Giving Thanks

............ In other words, let the Lord control your life, your thoughts, your motives, your money, your time. Let the Spirit who lives inside of you live out Christ in you, moment by moment, every day. It’s in the present tense. And then He says there’s evidence when this is occurring, “…speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, sing and make music in your heart to the Lord; always giving thanks to God the Father for,” just the good times. “…for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

See, in Romans 1, when I give thanks, I honor God as Creator. In Ephesians 5, the first portion, when I honor God by thanks, he’s my Provider. When the Spirit of God is reigning in my heart and your life, the overflow will be thanksgiving because He’s your Lord, He’s calling the shots.

And the lack of thankfulness in your heart will let you know He’s not Lord right now. And it’s hard to do sometimes, isn’t it? But the Bible pushes it even farther theologically.

1 Thessalonians 5:16 through 18 it says, “Rejoice always,” not sometimes. “Rejoice always.” It’s a choice. It doesn’t mean you always feel happy but it’s a choice. “Pray about everything; in everything give thanks;” why? “for it is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.”

And this isn’t the slap happy, “Praise God, praise the Lord. I have a good friend who has cancer. Oh, praise God. I thank God.” No, no, no.

This is that sense that you can only do, in your heart, as you walk intimately with your Savior where you say, “My marriage isn’t what I’d like it to be, my finances aren’t where I would like it to be, some of my children aren’t where I want them to be, I would like to be married and I’m not, my body isn’t working the way I wish it would but I understand that I am made for eternity, not simply time.

“And by an act of the will, knowing that God is good, knowing He is sovereign and in control, and knowing that He is faithful He will give me grace to endure and He will deliver me through this, or He will deliver me out of it, or He’ll deliver me unto Himself because His primary role in my life is not to make me happy, to not make me a successful American, to not get me ahead in middle-class American life.

“His primary objective is to cultivate intimacy between me and the Father and to make my character, my heart, and my motives more like His Son, Jesus.” That’s what God’s up to in your life.

According to Carl Jung, the collective unconscious is a source of wisdom and illumination - the "God within."
