A Family of Blue Jays has a nest outside our upstairs bedroom window. This video shows some of the feeding on June 13-14, 2009, as well as some of the local wildlife who were in the area at the time. And our cat Pooka, wondering why I wasn't letting him in. (He's no threat to the Blue Jay nest - he knows from experience that he can't climb up there)
Forgive the shakiness, I had to hold the camera out the window on a monopod in order to see over the branches. To our neighbours; now you know why I was hanging out the window at 7am with a camera on a stick!
There wasn't much I could do about the traffic noise, I chose to leave it in so you could hear the babies and some of the other bird noises.

Tip for professional editors #1: When doing a montage of magazine covers, try not to use someone's subscription copy. It's just tacky.

Responding to the briefs 'The Senses' and 'From Here to There' during the lens-based media rotation, I decided to create a time-lapse video using Final Cut Pro, documenting the process of creating a textured piece. Inspired by the likes of David Tress, Anselm Kiefer and The Boyle Family, this is the final outcome of said piece.
