This morning EM and I went to clean up near the mouth of Sagami River in Chigasaki. This is just a small part of the area - there was a huge stretch of beach like this. Sure some had been deposited here by the typhoon last week - but a lot of the cans were from parties on the beach. It's just so depressing to see.

Big thanks to Todd Gorman for once again working hard to organize people to come and the rubbish collected to be picked up.

Also big thanks to the surfers and beach goers who just picked up bags and started helping us.

An exhibition running at Bristol’s very grand ’Royal West Of England Art Academy’ until 2nd May.

The exhibition is showcasing the talents of some of the city’s best and most influential graffiti and street artists.

Only a few weeks left now and I can’t recommend it enough.

I will try and name all the writers and artists I can but I have just uploaded 68 pictures from the exhibition and am just about to open my second cider of the evening.

One of the more curious things I spotted on the vandalized left side of Zorba. It looks like the pipe is wrapped in either asbestos or old rags.

Today's weather has been odd - ranging from bright sunshine and clear skies, to sleet so thick you could hardly see the end of the garden. During the latter, I wandered around the house with camera, and found that the whole lot had chosen the sensible course - to sleep through it all. What's all this nonsense about 'dumb animals'?
