fast, full, filthy, scary - the taxis of Uganda are everywhere, and almost all named by their owners. Many are named after football teams and players, or religious texts, or just nice little phrases like this one.

CP G35 rolls westbound out of Bensenville for Spaulding behind the same old dirty-ass SD75I and clean C40-8W for the past several weeks.
Let's just take a moment to appreciate this picture, folks. Two things pop out in my mind:
1) I don't care what kind of major league career you've had, you're not hitting the ball beyond the infield when your follow-through looks like Rangers designated hitter Andruw Jones' does here;
2) That puff of chalk and dirt...that was where Dodgers' closer Jonathan Broxton's splitter ended up. Jones nor any of the Rangers hit well in this game, but regardless, that is some filthy stuff.

Yesterday, while looking for a hair styling place that was still open so that my funny-looking cousin Tho could finally get a haircut, we checked out the Confederation Mall. Magicuts was closed. So, there were two other stores within the mall, and one was open as headed towards it. However, it closed too. As I left the mall towards the "main" entrance, the mall appears to have failed in keeping itself clean. As you can see, there are leaves on the floor.
