A roll of 35mm still in my old Canon TX. I'm not sure when I loaded it. Attached to the spool and ready to shoot. It's curling on the edges now. An interesting find and reminds me of how photography started for me. With digital I'm able to post this without sending the film out, then waiting a week or two to get the pics back. Going to a one hour photo was another pricier option that came along. Either way I didn't always know which pics came out until I got them back. #35 #FlickrFriday #film #35mmFilm #macro #Makro #analog #CanonTX #old #nostalgia #SLR

Yorkshire - map location not meant to be specific
NB Best viewed small - I've always liked the photo, but the scan is terrible and I've lost the negatives... I do hate solid blacked out shadows, so I apologise for that, but they got 'locked in' when the scan was done. [Nice work, Norfolk Camera Centre. I'm not sorry you're gone... I am sorry you stole my £200 flash though. Of course I wouldn't have a problem with that.] Moving on...
By now people may wonder why I uploaded it. Simple - because I like this stretch of road. :-)

Some real issues with the lens (severe halation in all shots), I can't work out what the matter is though. Frustrating.

This is the "Chubby Castor", whatever that means, at Castor. Part of the Fitzwilliam Arms pub I think. Very attractive anyway.

One of the three sides of New Square in Cambridge, which is a pleasant green space with these nice old terraces round it. I believe it is owned by Jesus College, I used to live in number 31 which is behind the camera here.

The weir at Tinwell pumping station on the river Welland. There is a nice little bank-side area to the left where people sometimes sit and watch the water go by, picnic, etc. About 20 minutes walk from my house.

"Earthworks" florists at Uppingham, with a lovely double bow window shop front. Photo could have done with some direct light on the building but it's a nice looking shop front so worth a share regardless.

The current business has been in this location since 1979, but the workshop and house date back to 1600, and the workshop has been used as a wheelwrights, carpenters, general builders and undertakers in that time. Another photo from a wander around Castle Bytham in the sunshine.
