A bare tree in a field at Ketton near the quarry. The stuff on the ground near the tree is hay not snow. I imagine the tree will be covered in leaves in a few weeks time.

A street scene from Castor with the church tower of St Kyneburgha's dominating the local skyline as it has done these last thousand years or so (re-dedicated by the Normans in 1124, the church had been wrecked by Viking raids by 1012).

A roll of 35mm still in my old Canon TX. I'm not sure when I loaded it. Attached to the spool and ready to shoot. It's curling on the edges now. An interesting find and reminds me of how photography started for me. With digital I'm able to post this without sending the film out, then waiting a week or two to get the pics back. Going to a one hour photo was another pricier option that came along. These are (I think) some of the old warehouses which formed part of the Nottingham London Road train station. The main station building is now a gym, the sign for that is visible in the foreground of this.
This is a follow up shot to my earlier post which featured the current train station on Carrington Road in Nottingham.

Always a must-do when visiting Macclesfield, climbing the 108 steps from the train station to the town centre.
I do wonder about a wider version of this (and of a lot of my town photos in general) but fundamentally I like shooting at 50 mm. Maybe I'll take a 35 mm out one day.

Trying to do more than just trees :) This was outside some store I visited. No clue where. Many days I will visit a variety of locations and take pics. It may be a week or so before I turn them into art, that's is why I usually don't say where they are from.
Not at all sure what this instrument is tbh. He was giving it some as you can see with the blur on his sticks.

One of the three sides of New Square in Cambridge, which is a pleasant green space with these nice old terraces round it. I believe it is owned by Jesus College, I used to live in number 31 which is behind the camera here.

The red car is a 1956 Riley Pathfinder which had "sold" in the front window (this photo is of a car dealers forecourt). I did once photo another Riley Pathfinder, this one is in much better condition. flic.kr/p/2mogmcu
