I need another Henry Cavill head sculpt like I need a hole in my head but I say this one and I just had to have it! I've lost track of how many I have... this makes maybe six or seven! Not sure! Anyway, hope you like the pics!

This is just a little tribute to Touko Valio Laaksonen a.k.a Tom Of Finland who an artist and icon within the gay community! His homoerotic and fetish art has had a huge influence on the gay community since the 1940's and continues to be celebrated even now, 26 years after his death!

i read up a few years ago about playing with zoom during an exposure and thought i would give it a try, im afraid to say im having another go at this some time soon. the picture is the flour mill apartments birkenhead docks northwest england.

the exposure was 2 seconds, the first second was still and focused on the building the second second was used to zoom out.

If you are wondering about the scaled gym equipment – it didn’t come along with the figures. I crafted them myself.

Japanese figure skater, Mao Asada, performs her short program at Cup of China, 2012.

This model features a Miniland figure of a young actor, holding his script, alongside a sloth! It was designed as a commission. The oddest commissioned projects are sometimes the most fun!

The sloth uses Demogorgon claws and short lengths of flex tube for the eyes. The actor uses one of my favorite styles of Miniland figure construction, utilizing brackets to make a figure between 2 and 3 studs wide.

The Corning Museum of Glass is dedicated to the art, history and science of glass. It was founded in 1951 by Corning Glass Works and currently has a collection of more than 45,000 glass objects, some over 3,500 years old.

I was very lucky to visit the museum when they were having a special exibition of the work of René Lalique (France, 1860─1945). As a successful jeweler Lalique experimented with glass in his designs, which eventually led to a career in which he fully embraced the material. His aesthetic choices in his designs informed the styles of Art Nouveau and Art Deco in France, and the objects he created have become iconic reflections of these periods. Lalique also embraced industrial innovations, like mass production, allowing luxury glass to be placed in more and more households around the world.
