I went back to the field I photographed recently to get a closer shot of the tree before the crop was harvested. I guess it is just stubble now as all the fields around appeared to have been harvested and this one must have been next.

Along with wheat, Canola is crop often found growing in the Palouse. This field is a couple of miles west of Colfax, Washington.
