É o fim do ciclo. Milho colhido, pés amareliços, contrastando com o verde do resto da vegetação.

Various photos from the Clevedon parkrun! Weather wasn't great, but even soggy photos can be fun!

Suwon -- Forteresse Hwasung - South Korea

Hwaseong Fortress

When the Joseon King Jeongjo moved his father's tomb to Suwon at the end of the 18th century, he surrounded it with strong defensive works, laid out according to the precepts of an influential military architect of the period, who brought together the latest developments in the field from both East and West. The massive walls, extending for nearly 6 km, still survive; they are pierced by four gates and equipped with bastions, artillery towers and other features.

How unsettling is to walk in the car on a lonely street cover about gold and black fields as in a desert where these wind turbines work and work. Spectral, worrying and magnific in the same time…

Something about this photo/composition is pleasing to me, what do you think? It's fun to watch these birds fly in and just land wherever they want to in this field.

Tulip Field - somewhere between Haarlem and Leiden in The Netherlands. The tulips bloom for just a few weeks a year in April/May and make for a great cycling trip.

KARB. Ann Arbor Municipal Airport. My home field. Where I took my first formal steps on my journey to becoming a pilot. Here I soloed nearly 17 years ago. What a welcome sight. Here I returned after venturing out on my first solo cross country one rainy evening. What a welcome sight! Here I ran the gauntlet that is the private pilot practical test. Departing one last time as a student and returning as pilot in command. What a welcome sight. This place changed me forever. You will always be my port in the storm, my welcome sight, my home.

I thought there were 4 sisters living in my five foot tank. I was wrong! One night I spotted a tiny mouse racing about, and then two more! Obviously there was a male among my original four. When I gave them the purple plastic castle to play in, the male and a female mouse decided that the upper floor made the perfect nursery and they moved in and, in due course, produced three baby mice.
