me and my brother ditched our stupid museum tour (a museum about a war I've never even heard of) and spent our two hours laying and relaxing in this field. Scotland is so beautiful
This colour image shows the Hubble Ultra Deep Field region, a tiny but much-studied region in the constellation of Fornax, as observed with the MUSE instrument on ESO’s Very Large Telescope. But this picture only gives a very partial view of the riches of the MUSE data, which also provide a spectrum for each pixel in the picture. This data set has allowed astronomers not only to measure distances for far more of these galaxies than before — a total of 1600 — but also to find out much more about each of them. Surprisingly 72 new galaxies were found that had eluded deep imaging with the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope.

Oh, man. Yesterday was quite the day. I had a ton of tests and I had to write an essay in English. It was a pre-AP test to see where we are right now and then compare it to how we do on it at the end of the year. Then school ended and I was in a fantastic mood. My sister and I both went to the football game because we're both in band. We practiced for an hour and then we headed over to the field to do the national anthem in which our instructor, Jesse said we screwed up. We then sat in the stands until half time. But first my clarinet was knocked from the bleachers and to the ground. It was sitting right beside me at the very top of the bleachers and I have no idea how it happened but all I could hear was the sound of the girl next to me going "Oh my gosh!" and then hearing something hit the ground. So my best friend and I ran down the bleachers and to my clarinet. I don't know if a lot of you realize how much an instrument costs so I'll just tell you that my clarinet costed around $2,400. We found that one key was stuck but thank god for Jesse because he fixed it and I didn't have to send it into Paige's to get it fixed. It does have some scratches to the wood but it's better than bent keys or rods! It already has some scratches on the keys from an accident my freshman year. If you're interested in hearing that story you'll have to message me or something. (XD) Half time went "decent." That's how Jesse put it. Okay, I'll stop ranting. :)

Lavender (Lavandula) fields in the Cotswolds, the smell of Lavender was unbelivable while I was here shooting this.
Green fields at the farm Núpakot under the mountain Núpur, or Steinafjall in the Eyjafjöll peninsula south coast of Iceland. This shot is taken few days before Eyjafjallajökull erupted. After several days of dark ash clouds hovering over the Eyjafjöll area, these green fields got covered with dark ash. Farmers have been busy cleaning houses, machinery and fields in this area the last couple of days.
