Handheld Shot with Sony Nex-7 and Trioplan 2.8/100 neo. It is quite a Challenge to focus on the "Link" in the Middle of the Picture when having no Tripod available. The small reflections made it interesting for me. Have Fun and zoom in, please!!!!

Sony A7II (ILCE-7M2) with e-mount adapted multicoated (MC) lens Helios 44M-4 58/2. Sony full-frame in body image stabilization ON. ISO 400. f/2. 1/60s. Wide-open shot. Manual mode.

A macro view of metal hair spirals. I have no idea what these do; I just thought they looked cool. The frame represents a span of ¾ -of-an-inch across.

The scene was illuminated by two Nikon SB900 speedlights, a steady blue LED flashlight, and a warm overhead room light. The SB900s were positioned CL/CR and fired in Manual mode @ 1⁄128 power through 24" softboxes and triggered by PocketWizard Plus Xs. The LED was placed at 2-o'clock.
Lens: Helios 44M-4 58mm f2.0 with 12mm + 20mm + 36mm extension tubes attached.
Sedert een week volg ik enkele bevers in de buurt.
Normaal zie je ze niet zo vaak overdag maar omdat ze nu met jongen zitten en de nachten zo kort zijn beginnen ze rond 19 uur voedsel te zoeken .Dit wijfje is wel 130cm lang.Als ze me waarneemt komt ze steeds weer aangezwommen tot op enkele meters afstand en blijft me dan soms een minuut lang roerloos observeren.Dan gaat ze verder met het vellen van jonge wilgen waarvan ze de bast en bladeren verorbert.Ook neemt ze veel tijd om haar vacht te onderhouden.

For 121 Pictures in 2021 #35 "Fibre", broccoli is a nutritious vegetable very high in fiber (or fibre, as it is spelled elsewhere).
The fiber holding this Burn Weed seedpod is so thin that at first glance it looks as if nothing is there. If you look very closely you may be able to just barely make out the hidden fiber. The fiber is obvious in the center right the and lower left of the picture.
This is a hand made, hand weaved Menominee bracelet. It is made from nettles fibers and dyed with local plant dyes. It was given to me in trade, of sorts. The artist of this was participating , along with myself and a whole lot of others in a living history event called The Trail of History. I visited the campsite of the artist and we got to talking. He was in the process of splitting stalks of nettles stems into long threads of fiber. As I had expressed an interest in his process, he taught me how to to about splitting nettles into thin fiber threads that he and his wife would later dye using dyes created from nuts and cabbage. In exchange for my work and our palaver, he gifted me this bracelet after I offered to buy it.

Our Daily Challenge: MULTICOLOR
This cloth is orange, coppery, blue and there are thin stripes of red and yellow. So it very well fits the theme multicolor.
The Jute stalks stay submerged in water for 20 days. When jute stalk is well retted, after loosening the fibers, the fibers are washed with water and squeezed dry.
A recent morning trip to the Springfield Nature Center found a tree down across the trail. The trunk's split resulted in this fibrous view. One might ask if it made a sound.

The crown of a yucca plant against a granite outcropping. Note the mass of tough fibers splitting off from its leaves. The native American tribes used these fibers for pretty much everything for which you can imagine using fiber. Sandals, cloth, belts, baskets, ropes, and mats were all woven from yucca fiber.
