DAYCARE + TRAINING
A day with Dog Taxi is more than just fun and fetch, it also includes obedience training – for beginner, intermediate, and advanced pooches.
Listen up, pups: join the Dog Taxi pack and have a great time! We make it easy for you and your parents.
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:
We pick you up at your house
We go to the beach or to the park for two hours with all of your best furry friends. You get to run, play, learn, socialize, and get dirty.
We even give you a little schooling – one-on-one and group training with all your favourite distractions around
(Balls! Scents! Other dogs!). Mom and Dad are amazed when you get home!
When the day is done, we drop you off at home for dinner with your tail wagging.
If dogs could smile, you would.
BOARDING + TRAINING
We believe that every dog deserves a fluffy bed and good night’s sleep.
We don’t do crates and cement floors. All of our dog’s stay in the Dog Taxi home – they have rooms and beds and plenty of space to run, play, and sleep.
GROOMING
Dirty dogs are no match for our grooming team. We offer washing, drying, shaving, and nail clipping.
TAXI SERVICES
We will transport your dog just about anywhere – to the vet, the groomer’s, and even grandma’s house. Prices start at $25.
GINGER is a very cute, 4-5 month old collie mix puppy who’s playful and energetic, loves her toys, and enjoys playing with other puppies.
Ginger is a fun puppy who’s guaranteed to make you smile! She’s looking for an active, committed family (with older children) who’ll give her the exercise and training all puppies need.
Ginger lives in Kennel 36.

Another shot from New Zealand. Captured these two teenage girls playing with their dog as the sun was setting. He was having a great time! Finished with two textured layers.
When Macy fetches a ball she runs towards it at full speed then decelerates at the last second - when she's on the beach, sand goes spraying up as she skids. Trying to capture this was good practice with the various focusing options on the camera.
Hope managed to wear herself out pretty thoroughly about 2 days into our 4 day trip to Lake Tahoe. She made it look like she was going to run after her floatie toy for this photo, but she slowed to a walk right after I took it.
Caddie loves to chase the disc around. She's great for practicing my drives, not so much for bringing to a course.

a sneak peek at the Fetch! set at WGBH's new production facility in Brighton, MA. (Sorry, no more 0-2-1-3-4...)
I was playing around with the Timer on my iPhone, as it’s hard to take a picture AND throw the ball.
So I set a 3 second timer, waited until the warning sounds and chucked the ball. The camera took a burst of 10 pictures.
Since I was outside (playing fetch) I didn’t stop to see what I got. I did it twice and then put the phone away.
The result?
I should have thrown the ball sooner, as most of the shots were of a fluffy rump far in the distance.
That said, I think the “technique” has merit and I will definitely try it again.
