Whilst lazing by the river this delightful German Shepherd entertained us all. He couldn't wait to bring the stick home so my boys could throw it out again. Great Fun !

Also...the owners wanted me to send them this shot as they thought it was incredible. Job done....its in the post !

Frisbee catching dog trying to get it, before landing in a pool. Very fun show. Sussex County Fairgrounds, NJ.

It seemed like a great idea at the time. Last summer, we set our alarm for 4:30am and drove to a beach to sneak in a little sunrise swim with our dog before anyone else arrived. Carmen was totally beside herself with excitement, especially when we got out her float coat and she saw her pull toy that floats. You can see how well the idea worked. This was the first toss. She went in about up to her toenails. John braved the chilly waters and was Carmen's (and my) big hero on return. :)

Fun at the beach. At Half Moon Bay [next to Bahia Akumal] on the Riviera Maya. Half Moon Bay isn’t overly crowded. The beach is a narrow strip of white sand.

With us going on holiday to Scotland this coming Friday I had made a huge list of things which needed to be done (as I'll be coming directly home from holiday and flying off to the USA with work the next morning), so instead of only having to pack 1 suitcase, I'm having to pack 2 of them!

Anyway, I've been sidetracked somewhat by goings on in the back garden for the last couple of hours, as Wage has been out there for most of the afternoon teaching Rolf how to play fetch with some sticks.

It's been so funny to watch and Wage is still explaining to Rolf how the game should work, but Rolf seems to be having enough fun just making Wage run and get the stick himself a few minutes after he throws it away. Each time Wage throws it there's a "wooooooo" from all the other uglies who are out enjoying the antics of the pair, followed by laughing everytime Wage has to run and retrieve the stick by himself!

No doubt this will continue on into the evening...or until Wage falls over exhausted (there's no sign of that happening anytime soon).

Dog playing fetch on New Brighton beach

Oh come on... you didn't honestly think I would play fetch while it was raining and with the yard looking like that, did you?

Daily Dog Challenge 2983. "Unconventional"

No, Toby - as is his practice - took a ball out with him when when he went out for a Bio Break.

Yes, he could have stayed in the relative shelter of the eaves and then chosen a mostly dry spot under the trees.

That's what Henry did, he doesn't even care if he gets wet!

But no, Toby had to go ALL the way to the other side of the yard - the muddy side - the puddley muddy side!

Take from just inside the slider - probably zoomed in and definitely cropped.

I found this and wanted to share ;-)

Bastian and I were plaing catch/fetch.

Our yard is small, but the alley between us & our neighbour is quite long. It's a good run to use for a game of fetch.
