Was fun to watch the pup splashing in the shallows, ready for the next throw of the stick (because the poor thing couldn't find the one originally thrown... good thing his owner had plenty handy).

Our yard is small, but the alley between us & our neighbour is quite long. It's a good run to use for a game of fetch.
A photographic capture of the rare and elusive Pointing Squirrel, thought to be the result of an indiscretion between an ambitious gray squirrel and an English pointer.
It spends a lot of time frozen in confusion because it doesn't know whether it's supposed to point to nuts or bury ducks.

Sadie playing with the ball at the Sandy River.
Sadie is my blind dog. It hurts me still to think of her going blind at such an early age.
If there were malpractice suits for veterinarians, I would have two very good cases. On top of which I paid the assholes to create my dog’s blindness. Not hundreds of dollars, no… thousands of dollars with no recourse for compensation for failed and shoddy services. To this day I do NOT trust veterinarians and am furious at their exorbitant fees and deference to their ruination of a good dog. Sadie is healthy still, but is now blind and crippled in her back legs.
I guess I just needed to vent. At this point in my life my dogs are my family... no one else will have me. : )
This dog befriended us on a walk along the Water of Leith. How he got this stick down the stairs I'll never know! He clearly wanted to play "fetch"!
This is how I did this.
I only have PS Elements 5.
I opened the pics I wanted to insert. Then I opened my template (that I've uploaded to my photostream).
In the template, I used the magic wand tool to select the white parts that I wanted to insert the photo in.
Then I went back to the picture I wanted to put in that white part. I selected all of the pic and copied it.
Back in the template pic, I did "paste into selection". Then I resized the actual photo so it fit into the white part.
Did that for both photos.
Let me know if you need more detailed step by step, I'd love to help.

The community of Cambria, CA is having its annual Scarecrow Event this month and interesting Scarecrows are popping up everywhere. Here the entangled parachutist asks the pooch to fetch the propeller as he dangles from a front yard pine.
Some are fun, some are silly and others are quite touching. I'll try to get more posted before the event ends.
It got up to 63 degrees here today!! Spring definitely was in the air!
I went for a walk at a nature park to enjoy this beautiful day..
This sweet Lab was there and grabbed this big stick and put it in his mouth ; )
He was with his owners and I think he thought I should play fetch with him. After I took these two shots, he laid the stick at my feet ! A little too big for me to throw .. Ha! Ha! ; )
Didn't get the greatest shot,, but thought he was so cute!!
