A Valentine pizza for my Valentines. I used a small cookie cutter to cut the heart shapes in to the ham and pepperoni.
049 - I really wanted to open this, but it's only a week until the family's February birthday celebration. We'll be sampling this and some other goodies...

#febphotoaday #sun #lmorganfebphotoaday #sunflare I almost forgot what today's theme was ....caught this on my way out the back door of my office.
I was going to post a picture of my awesome green zombie shirt, but I didn't like any of the pictures, so here's some mint tea I had. It was delicious, btw.

nancynical: LOVE.
shbastet: Photographers are artists. Just because someone has a camera doesn't mean they can create art.
mandyatlarge: @shbastet exactly.
mandyatlarge: @shbastet with the advances in camera technology, ease of use, filters and all that, it's getting easier and easier to get pro-photographer results. With the right equipment, anyone can pass as a photographer. When every shot is perfect, what is perfection?
shbastet: The definition of perfection is up to the viewer, I suppose.
I suppose this is an odd thing for a not-particularly-religious person to have on her front door, but I am proud of being a Navy family. Also I love my red front door. Some units here in military housing have green doors. Red doors are so much better.
Time. Time was a hard shot for me. I couldn't decide what I wanted a picture of. A picture of a clock or a watch seemed too obvious, too trite. I wanted something that required an element of time to capture it... something taken with a high shutter speed, or a long one.
I finally settled on painting a clock with light. This works by setting the camera to take a long exposure (in this one the shutter was open for 15 seconds), and then drawing the shape that you want with a light source. In this case, I stood across the room with a flash-light and drew a clock while the shutter was open.
I took several photos, and this is the one that I liked the most - the balance and feel of the lines are just right in this one.

50/366 Febphotoaday theme something you hate to do - putting gas in my car is one of those things I feel blessed to be able to afford but hate the chore and the expense of the whole procedure.
