Hate to admit it, but I've always wanted to try riding a bike with fat tires! For the winter months in Minnesota, they are likely so needed! Enjoy your weekend everyone!
Beautiful sunny day yesterday for a fat bike ride at Gray’s Creek Conservation Area on my lunch hour.
The Golden-crowned sparrows are eating a lot in preparation of their migration to higher latitudes or altitudes. I saw at least a hundred in two adjacent trees, feasting on whatever was hiding in the lichens and mosses.

I wonder what makes members of the "Harley Owners Group - - HOG) want to look as if they are "Hells Angels" ?
Most of them are pleasant law abiding citizens (old and a bit rotund - like me) but generally nice guys.
And for the uninitiated the "Fat Boy" patch on his shirt refers to the bike not his waistline.
The Harley-Davidson Fat Boy, is a V-twin softail cruiser motorcycle with solid-cast disc wheels. Designed by Willie G. Davidson and Louie Netz, Harley-Davidson built a prototype Fat Boy in Milwaukee for the Daytona Bike Week rally at Daytona Beach in 1988.
