The signs on the outside say it made screws, nails and the likes. Now it is empty and derelict.

Living hinge is secured to deck via hot glue, followed by nylon screws fastened into tapped holes in deck and living hinge, then super-glued on hinge side, filed and sanded flush

The inner screws are now stainless flat heads from McMaster. This gives a couple mm more clearance right where it was coming too close to the chain stay.
