Oops, I can see the ends of the elastic cord! Oh well...this might be the perfect fastener EVER! All materials came from Walmart and as luck would have it, the buttons are perfect for the Canopy Cardigan. I may make a couple more to close it up a little more.
This fastener was made following the instructions in Everyday Crochet by Doris Chan using 2 shank buttons, 1mm elastic beading cord, and E beads.
I might just forgo buttons on a lot of garments in favor of these fasteners that are interchangeable with whatever mood strikes.

The 2nd load of #fasteners for the Schuff Steel #Solar Project in Boulder City Nevada was shipped out today. Within the shipment of specially #coated fasteners included ¾-10 x 2 Flange #bolts, Lock #nuts and #washers, which was achieved with the support and cooperation of our fine manufactures.

Josh has a wealth of knowledge and experience within the Fastener Industry, having been in the Industry for 16 years now. His knowledge and experience stem from having held various positions within the company. Starting in the Warehouse, then moving to Will Call, to managing a satellite store, and then finally to Inside Sales.
Josh has a large sense of pride in his work and he enjoys dealing with the customers and helping them get their jobs completed on time.

Williams Fasteners, was founded in 1870 by the Williams brothers, and was based at Green Lane in Shalesmoor in Sheffield until 1997. The company then relocated to the outskirts of Sheffield near the M1 to make distribution easier. It’s really nice to see it didn’t shut down.
It is this original site that is currently available to exploration. However the place, with its nooks and crannies, has been purchased for redevelopment and so will probably see workmen starting soon and all the cubbies will be ripped out.

I loved this explore. We got disorientated inside and a bit lost in the dark amongst the cuboards. It has the feel of an old family business, lots of cool health and safety posters from the 80s proffering good advice.
In 2005 the company changed hands and for the first time the Williams family were no longer a part of the management of this local Sheffield business.
